Guest Terms and Conditions





Thank you for your interest in Ty Poeth Holiday Cottages, we look forward to welcoming you.  When you make this booking you are entering an agreement with us.  Please read our terms and conditions of booking below. Important: 30% deposit at booking time and  the balance 6 weeks before the start date.


If for any reason a refund is necessary, a maximum  50% of the total premium paid will be refunded.  

Prices:

The price of the accommodation includes the following:

The following are extra:
The second bucket of coal and basket of logs will be 2 pounds each.
Laundry service. 2 pounds for the washing machine and 3 pounds for the dryer. Bath and hand towels are 3 pounds per set.
Any breakages will be at cost price.

Cancellation and Insurance:

Once you have booked your holiday, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable.  If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.  If we do succeed in re-letting the booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it, 20% administration fee>>.  Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances.  For this reason we strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, which is inexpensive and can be obtained from any good broker.  Or Please ask for details at West Wales Holiday Cottages.
Important:
We do our best to make sure the cottages are cleaning on your arrival, but no guarantee is made to the fact that these cottages are unique in their charm, age and authenticity and that it may not always be possible to make sure there are no cobwebs , for example. If you find that there are aspects of the cleanliness that has been overlooked, please inform us as soon as possible, so we may rectify it. 
Non-availability of Accommodation:
We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control.  We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by your for the holiday.  Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival: 

Your accommodation will be available to you from 16:00 on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please call 07914 772860 two days before start date to inform us of your approx time of arrivel and we will  arrange to meet  you with the key.

Departure:

Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please try to leave the accommodation as clean as possible.  If you have made use of any further service for which payment has not been made during your holiday, we will provide you with an invoice which is payable on departure.
Leave the key in the door.

Damages and Breakages:

Please take care with our properties.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents, either by pets or yourself. For example:
Please don't allow your pets on the seating and bedding as this will cause excessive wear and tear. Please report damages as soon as they occur.  We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of <<£x>> if you did not report this.

Safety First

 

Please take note of the location of your keys before retiring to bed so that they may be easily accessible if an emergency arises.  Also, please note locations of your quickest exit ways (windows and entrance door) if we must evacuate from the property.

Please keep pets on lead at all times while in garden as other guests may have young children playing outside. Thank you

Please use only the cleaning fluids provided. No bleach or biological agents to be poured down the drains or toilet

Cleaning solutions are put underneath the kitchen sink.  If you have small children, please relocate them to the highest shelf in the kitchen cabinet where they are not reachable by those children.  The chemicals in the solutions may be hazardous if they become exposed.

Liability:

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

Data:

Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer.
